About the Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard

The Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard is a traditional reformed church located just north of the town of Rudyard, MI.  We are a gathering of people who seek to worship God and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We offer ourselves to do God's work. We affirm the historic Christian faith and the saving message of the Bible. In all we do and say we want to be guided by the Biblical principles of love. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. Our mission is to lead people to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to: Glorify, Grow, Give, and Gather.

• We glorify God in celebrative, seeker-friendly worship services.
• We grow in our ability to serve Christ every day, everywhere through an extensive teaching and mentoring program.
• We give of ourselves and what we have in service to one another and the community, with special emphasis on young families.
• We gather people from our community so that they too will glorify, grow and give with us.

We invite you to come and check us out. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm family friendly atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of caring people pursuing God together. And with childcare and classes for all ages, your family will love it too!

God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join with us as we pursue God together!

Faith

We understand that building faith is a life long journey and welcome individuals at all stages of that journey. Whether you are curious non-believer, a new believer, or seasoned life long Christian, or somewhere in-between, there is a place for you here. We desire to support your walk as you seek to understand more about the gospel message and grow your faith in a company of others. Through Bible studies, fellowship, worship, and teaching we hope to see each member grow in their faith as we gather together.

Family

At the Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. We believe that God includes Christian adults and their children in his covenant of grace. We believe training our children is essential in our church, in our home and in our schools. To help minister to the whole family we provide a variety of children's ministries alongside and in addition to our regular services. Our goal is to provide age-appropriate environments for people of all ages to encounter Christ and grow in their faith.

Leadership

The Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard is guided by a pastor and church council who provide overall direction and watch over the spiritual needs of the church. Our pastor provides sound, practical, biblical teaching at each worship service. He has received theological and pastoral training and is equipped to share God's love with our local community. The Christian Reformed Church of Rudyard is blessed to have a leadership team who are dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will.
