High School Ministries

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness.

Check out our events page to see any upcoming events.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

Catechism

Catechism meets each Sunday morning, September through April immediately following the morning service. Classes run from approximately 10:45 to 11:45AM. High School students meet together with their teacher to study the Catechism and other confessions of Reformed Theology.

Following Catechism students are invited, along with their families, for a shared potluck fellowship meal which is fully provided.

Youth Group

This group is for all high school students (grades 9-12). We gladly welcome any youth - whether you plan to attend regularly or just want to check us out. We strive to help our youth become closer to God and develop deeper relationships with God, themselves and those that surround them. We currently meet the first 3 Mondays of the month from 7-8p throughout the school year (October through May). Check the events page for specific dates. We meet upstairs at church in our youth room.

SERVE

SERVE is typically a one-week mission trip for teens in the United States or Canada that introduces students to spreading the gospel through missional living and confronting issues of justice. SERVE provides hands-on service that is people-focused, giving SERVE trips a very personal and long-term impact.

The week typically starts with fun teambuilding and get-to-know-you activities. Each workday starts with morning devotions before teams go off to their work sites, where the emphasis is to connect with the people you are serving and share God’s love. Every night the students are led in worship and the speaker for the week brings a message related to the theme. These sessions are challenging and faith-building. Each evening also includes free time for games, sports, or hanging out with new friends. One day of the week is a ‘Day Away’ where everybody has a fun day off together at the beach, local theme park, cottage, or local attraction.
